Cyclist Dies at Hospital After Collision at Wolfe Road and Inverness Way
Sunnyvale, CA (September 27, 2022) – A fatal traffic accident occurred Monday evening in the area of Wolfe Road and Inverness Way.

According to the Mercury News, a man was riding a bicycle traveling in the streets of Sunnyvale around 5:10 p.m. When the cyclist approached the intersection of Wolfe Road and Inverness Way, a vehicle struck them.
Responding emergency crews found the bicycle rider suffering in serious injuries. An ambulance subsequently rushed the victim to the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, where the patient sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, the driver involved in the crash reportedly stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police. Detectives continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the deadly accident at Wolfe Road and Inverness Way.
