SUNNYVALE (July 29, 2016)- According to the San Jose Mercury News, a fatal solo vehicle crash occurred Friday morning within the eastbound lanes of Highway 237.
The incident which occurred at around 2:00 a.m. involved a 2005 Toyota 4-door vehicle whose driver lost control allowing the vehicle to roll over multiple times before coming to rest.
A total of five men all in their 20’s were inside the vehicle.
One of the five men, a 24-year-old man of San Jose sadly did not survive and was pronounced dead at the scene. He has not been properly identified by name at this time.
The other four motorists sustained injuries considered to range from minor to moderate and were each hospitalized.
California Highway Patrol officials have not disclosed whether or not drugs or alcohol were a contributing factor in this incident.
