Motorcyclist Suffers Minor Injuries in Car Accident
SUNNYVALE, Calif. (Sept. 5, 2023) — A Sunnyvale motorcycle accident happened Tuesday morning on Highway 85 at the northbound transition to the Interstate 280 Freeway.
The two-vehicle collision occurred around 9:08 a.m. on Sept. 5th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the driver of a red Ford Ecosport and a motorcyclist collided in the northbound fast lane on Highway 85 due to unknown circumstances.
Paramedics responded to help the injured rider, but it’s unknown if the person was hospitalized. The injuries were considered to be minor at the scene, but there were no further details.
Meanwhile, a tow truck came to remove the motorcycle from the highway.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the motorcycle accident on Highway 85.
