Car and Big Rig Truck Collide on Calaveras Road at I-680
SUNOL, Calif. (August 22, 2022) — A Sunol crash happened Monday morning on the Calaveras Road on ramp to the Interstate 680 Freeway.
The two-vehicle crash occurred about 11 a.m. on August 22nd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials say the drivers of a green Toyota Solar and a white big rig truck collided in the eastbound lanes of Calaveras Road.
Paramedics responded to help at least one person who suffered minor injuries in the Sunol crash.
A tow truck responded to remove the Toyota from the crash site.
Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Sunol accident.
