2-Vehicle Head-on Crash on State Route Highway 84 in Sunol
SUNOL, Calif. (April 21, 2021) — A head-on Sunol car accident happened Wednesday morning on Highway 84 at the Interstate 680 Freeway.
The drivers of a black Honda Accord, a white Nissan Altima and other vehicles collided about 9:34 a.m. on April 21st, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Additionally, the vehicles blocked the westbound lanes of the highway. Both vehicles wound up with major front-end damage.
Paramedics Respond to Sunol Crash on Highway 84
Two people were injured in the Sunol car accident and transported to hospitals. However, there were no further details about the extent of their injuries.
The vehicles blocked the roadway and traffic continued in the area as motorists drove the wrong way or on the shoulder to get by the road block.
Meanwhile, investigators seek to determine the cause of the head-on Sunol car accident.
