SUNOL, California (March 25, 2016) – According to California Highway Patrol dispatch team, a head-on collision was reported on eastbound Highway 84 on Friday night. (map)
CHP received a report about a Scion and an Acura 4-door sedan which collided about 9:50 p.m., three miles west of the Interstate 680 Freeway.
In an article by Inside Bay Area, CHP affirmed that at least one person sustained minor injuries following the crash. It was not specified if the victim was treated at the scene or was taken to a nearby hospital.
A Sig Alert was issued, forcing all lanes to be blocked in both directions.
The cause of the incident has not been yet known. Authorities will continue to investigate.
