Susan Cardoza Hit by Car Silverado Trail North
NAPA COUNTY, Calif. (Nov. 7, 2018) — A pedestrian died Wednesday morning in a car accident on Silverado Trail, just north of the city of St. Helena, according to the Napa Valley Register.
Susan Cardoza, 53, of St. Helena, was struck by the vehicle about 6:20 a.m. in the 3500 block of Silverado Trail North, according to the Napa County Sheriff’s Office.
A relative told the Register that Cardoza had lived in St. Helena her whole life and graduated from St. Helena high.
The fatal crash comes about a month after a 61-year-old male pedestrian was killed on the 400-block of Silverado Trail North on Oct. 19.
Napa accident investigation
Police are reviewing the evidence and any witness statements to determine fault for this collision. The investigation will consist of looking at measurements, going over evidence left by the vehicle such as point of impact, final resting positions of the vehicle, skid marks, and gouge marks.
