Major Injury Collision on Highway 139 Friday
Susanville, CA (August 13, 2021) – At least one person suffered serious injuries following a truck accident that occurred on State Route Highway 139, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
On Friday, at about 3:22 a.m., the California Highway Patrol logged a collision involving a semi truck. Initial records indicated the big rig rolled over for an unknown reason in the northbound side of Highway 139 near Rice Canyon Road in Susanville.

Responding emergency crews found at least one person from the truck with serious injuries. An ambulance later arrived, and transported the patient to a hospital for treatment. Police continue to withhold the name of the injured party pending confirmation.
At this time, investigators continue to determine the exact number of vehicles involved in the wreck. Detectives continue to gather details surrounding the truck accident in Susanville.
