Driver Suspected of DUI in 3-Vehicle Crash on Monterey Avenue
RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. (Feb. 20, 2019) — Byran William Kaul, 69, of Palm Desert, was arrested on suspicion of DUI after an injury crash in the 43000 block of Monterey Avenue.
The crash took place about 2 p.m. on Feb. 19th.
The Rancho Mirage Police Department responded to the three-vehicle traffic collision where it was determined that driver, Byran William Kaul was intoxicated with alcohol and or drugs.
One of the two drivers Kaul collided with suffered undisclosed non-life threatening injuries. That driver was transported to a local hospital.
Police say that Kaul did not sustain any injuries but was taken to a hospital as a precaution. There were no other injuries reported.
Later police booked Kaul into the Riverside County Jail in Indio.
