Man Fatally Struck by Vehicle Near Keyes Road Friday
Sutter County, CA (January 21, 2022) – A pedestrian died following a traffic accident that occurred on Natomas Road Friday, the CBS Sacramento News reported.
Officials said a vehicle struck an individual near Keyes Road, just south of Pleasant Grove. The catastrophic incident took place shortly before 5 a.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found the victim lying on the ground. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the pedestrian but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Authorities mentioned the victims was wearing dark clothing at the time of the collision.
Meanwhile, the driver reportedly stayed in the area and cooperated with the investigation process. Detectives continue to work to determine exactly how and why the deadly pedestrian accident happened on Natomas Road in Sutter County.
