Driver Killed in Rear-End Collision Near Wilson Road
Sutter County, CA (November 22, 2022) – A 37-year-old man died following a traffic accident that occurred on State Route Highway 99, the Appeal Democrat News reported.
Officials said a passenger vehicle slammed into the back of a semi truck on the highway near Wilson Road. Our sources indicated the collision took place Monday at about 9:35 p.m.

According to the article published online, the force from the impact resulted in fatal injuries to the driver of the car. Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away. Authorities only identified the deceased as a 37-year-old Yuba City resident.
Meanwhile, the operator of the semi truck appeared unharmed after the collision.
Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine exactly how and why the fatal crash happened on State Route 99 in Sutter County.
