1 Killed in Sutter County Crash at Highway 20 and Humphrey Road
SUTTER COUNTY, CA (October 22, 2022) – A car crash killed at least one person at Highway 20 and Humphrey Road in Sutter County.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the tragic accident took place early Saturday. Officers reported the wreck at about 1:09 a.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided head-on for an unknown reason in Sutter County. They crashed on Highway 20 at the intersection with Humphrey Road.
2 Vehicles Collide
The incident log described one of the cars involved as a gray truck. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel confirmed that one individual died as a result of the collision. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Highway 20 and Humphrey Road to shut down for a time following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Sutter County crash is still under investigation.
