2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 99 in Live Oak
LIVE OAK, Calif. (Jan. 24, 2024) — Two vehicles were involved in a crash Wednesday morning on Highway 99 at Live Oak Boulevard in Sutter County in front of Lomo Cold Storage.
The collision occurred at around 9:12 a.m. on Jan. 24th, just south of the railroad tracks, according to the California Highway Patrol. Several motorists stopped to help those involved and someone called 911 for help.
The drivers of a Ford Explorer SUV and a white Honda Accord sedan were involved. The Ford overturned down an embankment and its driver became trapped, meanwhile, the sedan had major front-end damage from the collision.
Paramedics responded and transported two people with injuries to Rideout Medical Center.
Tow trucks removed both of the vehicles from the roadway.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on Highway 99 in Live Oak.
