Suspected DUI Head-On Crash at Ridge Road and Surrey Junction Lane in Sutter Creek
SUTTER CREEK (January 15, 2018) – A traffic collision occurred in the area of Ridge Road and Surrey Junction Lane on Monday night, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch team.
The accident took place at around 9:23 p.m.
As per the incident log, at least two vehicles collided head-on at the intersection of Ridge Road and Surrey Junction Lane. Paramedics responded to the scene and attended to the parties who may have suffered injuries following the crash.
Meanwhile, CHP mentioned in the dispatch that one of the drivers involved was believed to have been driving under the influence of alcohol as the motorist refused to exit their car. Authorities are still investigating the incident.
