Major Injury Collision on Colusa Highway Thursday
Sutter, CA (July 30, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a truck accident that occurred Thursday afternoon on State Route 20.
At approximately 12:10 p.m., CHP logged a traffic collision involving a tow truck. Initial records indicated the truck crashed for an unknown reason while traveling on SR-20, also known as Colusa Highway.
Officials said the truck rolled about 50 feet down the embankment near Humphrey Road.
At Least 1 Badly Hurt in Sutter County Truck Accident, July 30
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found at least one person with injuries. Responding paramedics attended to the victim, and later confirmed they sustained major trauma as a result of the wreck. Additional details on the victim have not been discussed thus far.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine exactly how and why the truck accident happened in Sutter.
