SUV Lands on Tesla in Crash at Fountain Valley Intersection
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. (Dec. 20, 2024) — A driver in an SUV landed on top of a Tesla in a crash Thursday at Magnolia Street and Ellis Avenue in Fountain Valley.
The two-vehicle collision occurred during rush-hour traffic due to unknown circumstances, a KTLA 5 News report said.
The dark-colored Chevrolet SUV was perched on the roof of the white Tesla at the intersection, leaving the driver in the SUV trapped.
Fountain Valley firefighters responded and rescued the driver from the SUV. Several people were injured in the collision, but there are no further details.
The SUV was later taken off the Tesla using a specialized tow truck.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash.
