Man Trapped, Injured After Crash on Herrick Avenue Monday
SYLMAR, Ca (February 25, 2020) – The Los Angeles Count Fire Department reported a traffic collision that occurred on Herrick Avenue Monday morning.
Car and Truck Accident in Sylmar, February 24
At approximately 11:30 a.m., two vehicles collided in the 12900 block of northbound Herrick Avenue. Our sources confirmed the mishap involved a compact sedan, and a big rig dump truck.
Emergency teams rushed to the site and and found a male party trapped in the wreckage. LAFD used hydraulic prying tools to extricate the victim. After successfully pulling out the man, medics transported him to an area trauma center for treatment of unknown extent of injuries.
Additional details on the mishap have not been revealed thus far. Further investigation on the case is underway.
