One Hospitalized After Car Accident on 210 Freeway

SYLMAR, Calif. (Oct. 11, 2023) — Two vehicles were involved in a Sylmar crash today on the westbound Interstate 210 Freeway, just west of the Osborne Street off ramp.

The collision occurred on the San Fernando Freeway at about 7:53 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 11th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.

The driver of a purple Chevrolet Corvette or Camaro reportedly swerved hard or lost control and collided with a Nissan SUV, the report said.

Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department responded and transported one person with undisclosed injuries to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills.

Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles from the freeway.

Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
