Multi-Vehicle, Rollover Crash I-5 Freeway, Roxford Street
SYLMAR, Calif. (Jan. 12, 2021) — A Sylmar crash involving six motorists was reported Tuesday morning on the Interstate 5 Freeway at Roxford Street.
The Sylmar crash was reported about 7:41 a.m. between a silver Toyota pickup truck, a gray Buick, a shite sedan and three other vehicles, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The white car overturned onto its side and the pickup truck and another vehicle were blocking the HOV lane. A couple of the vehicles were blocking the Nos. 3 and 4 lanes of the freeway.
Meanwhile, paramedics were called to the scene to treat anyone who was hurt. It’s unknown at this time if anyone was hospitalized.
The CHP did not state what led up to the collision, however, they will eventually determine fault. Finally, several of the vehicles were towed away due to damage.
