1 Killed, 2 Injured in Sylmar Crash on West Foothill Boulevard
SYLMAR, CA (May 9, 2021) – A car crash on Foothill Boulevard killed a woman and injured two men in Sylmar.
According to The Daily News and KTLA News, the tragic accident occurred on Sunday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 9:30 p.m.
The Los Angeles Fire Department said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Sylmar. They crashed at 16637 West Foothill Boulevard near the 210 Freeway and the 5 Freeway.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded and then extricated two trapped occupants from the wreckage. They later pronounced a 57-year-old woman dead at the scene.
Medical personnel rushed two men to the trauma centers for treatment of unspecified injuries. The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, officials soon forced the roadway to shut down for a time following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Sylmar crash is still under investigation.
