SYLMAR, California (March 26, 2016) – According to Los Angeles Daily News, Manuel Marquez, 49, of Sylmar was killed in a deadly traffic collision that took place on Roxford Street on Saturday evening.
The crash involving pickup truck and a small sedan took place shortly before 7 p.m. The driver of the sedan was reportedly extricated from the car.
As per the article, a statement released by Los Angeles Fire Department said one victim three victims were critically injured following the accident and they were all rushed to a local trauma center for treatment. Marquez died of his injuries at the hospital.
It was not known what caused the incident. Authorities will gather more information and evidence to determine liability.
