Woman Killed in Fallbrook Hit-and-Run is Identified
NORTH COUNTY, Calif. (December 15, 2020) – Symone Conley, 60, of Fallbrook, was killed Thursday after an alleged hit-and-run crash along Gird Road in Fallbrook.
According to The San Diego Union-Tribune and ABC 10 News, the collision took place about 5 p.m. on Dec. 10th, just north of Laketree Drive.
Symone Conley was walking with her husband northbound on the east shoulder in the 2700 block of Gird Road. Meanwhile, Pascual Domingo Pascual Cristobal, 36, was traveling northbound when he allegedly swerved off the road onto the shoulder and struck the woman.
Pedestrian Killed on Dec. 10; Driver Arrested DUI
Paramedics responded and found Conley suffering from major injuries after the crash. Unfortunately, she died at the scene.
The victim’s 60-year-old husband was not hurt. Furthermore, Cristobal stopped briefly but later fled the area in his pickup truck.
Police later located the suspect and arrested him on Sunday, Dec. 13th. He was booked at the Vista Detention Facility on felony hit and run, DUI causing death, and manslaughter charges.
