Tabitha Boyd, 37, Killed in Oxnard Hit-and-Run Crash on Ventura Road
OXNARD (September 12, 2019) – A pedestrian was killed after an alleged hit-and-run crash along Ventura Road late Wednesday night.
According to an article published by KVTA News, police identified the deceased victim as 37-year-old Tabitha Boyd.
Boyd was walking in the northbound lanes on Ventura Road when she was struck for an unknown reason by vehicle. She was then hit by several other cars.
Paramedics responded to the scene and found the transient woman lying in the roadway and suffering from severe injuries as a result of the crash.

Medical personnel ultimately pronounced her dead at the scene. The fatal collision took place on September 11 at around 11:36 p.m. near Juniper Street.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the first motorist did not stop after hitting Boy and fled. The suspect vehicle was described as a dark colored SUV.
The other motorists involved also continued driving without rendering aid to the victim. The incident remains under investigation.
