2 Injured in Traffic Collision on Highway 119 at East Kern Street Wednesday
Taft, CA (October 1, 2021) – Two people suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred in the area of Highway 119 and East Kern Street, the Taft Midway Driller News reported.
The traffic collision took place on September 29, Wednesday.
Authorities said a vehicle traveling in the streets of Taft veered off the roadway for an unknown reason. The car eventually slammed into a street light. Due to the force from the impact, the pole fell down.

When medical personnel arrived at the location, they found two people with injuries. Authorities later confirmed both the male driver and female passenger sustained injuries as a result of the wreck. The names of the victims, and the extent of their trauma have not been revealed thus far.
Investigators handling the case continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the car accident on Highway 119 in Taft.
