Woman Hospitalized After Collision at Eighth and Center Street
Taft, CA (September 8, 2021) – On October 17, 2020, a suspected DUI car crash occurred on Ash Street near Highway 119.
The Taft Midway Driller published an article online indicating a 22-year-old man was drunk while driving in the streets of Taft.
According to our sources, the suspect collided with a 2020 Audi. Officials briefly described the Audi driver as an Arroyo Grande woman.
Responding medical personnel found the female driver with injuries. An ambulance later arrived, then transported the injured woman to Kern Medical for treatment of minor injuries.
DUI Suspect Arrested After Injury Car Crash in Taft, October 17
Authorities added the 22-year-old suspect also sustained injuries as a result if the wreck. The drunk driver was first treated before being booked into jail on the DUI charges.
Several factors surrounding the DUI car crash in Taft remained unclear. Given that, further investigation on the case is underway.
