TAFT, California (March 26, 2017) – A deadly rollover collision took place on Petroleum Club Road early Saturday morning, according to 23 ABC News.
The solo-vehicle accident occurred just after 2 a.m.
As per the article, police said 21-year-old Louis Anthony Seal Jr. was driving a green 1996 Ford Explorer when for an unknown reason he swerved off the roadway. Seal failed to regain control of his car, which then overturned multiple times.
Seal was ejected from his vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other men riding in the Ford where taken to Bakersfield area hospitals with unspecified injuries.
Their names and condition were not available.
Meanwhile, police added that the men were apparently not wearing seat belts when the wreck happened. They were traveling from Maricopa to Taft at the time.
Alcohol was believed to have played a role in the incident which remains under investigation.
