TAFT, California (May 16, 2016) – 65-year-old motorcyclist Robert Leiter died after a traffic collision on Highway 119 near Cherry Avenue, according to an article by Bakersfield Now.
The accident happened on May 14.
As per the article, officers located at the crash site a motorcycle and a Chevrolet HHR involved in a wreck.
The force from the impact resulted in the elderly motorcyclist overthrown to the ground. The motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators assigned to handle this incident will continue to gather more evidence as there are several factors that remain unclear.
