TAHOE CITY, California (May 24, 2015) — A bicyclist was injured Sunday morning in a car accident on North Lake Boulevard (Highway 28) at Commons Beach Road in Placer County, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
About 11:07 a.m., CHP officers responded to the crash in the westbound lane of Highway 28 where the crash took place. They shut down the roadway to help the injured rider.
CAL FIRE Riverside County firefighters transported the injured rider to a local hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
