Tammy Galton, 56, Victim in Hit-and-Run
DATE OF INCIDENT: Saturday, September 15th
September 17, 2018- According to the Modesto Bee, a major injury hit-and-run pedestrian accident was reported over the weekend on Rouse Avenue near Colorado Avenue.
At roughly 6:45 p.m., Tammy Galton, 56, of Modesto, had been walking along westbound Rouse Avenue before being hit by a sedan also headed westbound.
The driver of the vehicle failed to stop and proceeded to flee the scene leaving Galton behind without rendering aid.
Victim Hospitalized at Memorial Medical Center
Meanwhile, paramedics quickly arrived and rushed Galton to Memorial Medical Center with a serious head injury, where she remains as of Monday morning.
No details have been provided on the hit-and-run driver as it appears the suspect remains at-large.
