Driver Suspected of DUI after Victorville Crash on Bear Valley Road
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (April 30, 2019) — Two people were injured in a suspected DUI crash early Tuesday morning on Bear Valley Road
The crash took place about 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 30th between 2nd and 3rd avenues.
Jeremy Hernandez, 28, of Apple Valley, and his passenger, Taniya Rocha, were traveling in his blue 2005 Jeep when the vehicle veered off the roadway and struck a power pole.
Paramedics responded and rushed both occupants to local hospitals. Rocha suffered abrasions, bruising and chest pain, while Hernandez was evaluated for injuries at the hospital. Police determined that Hernandez was under the influence of alcohol above the legal limits. He was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center. Hernandez faces charges of driving under the influence causing bodily injury.
The crash remains under investigation by police.
