
3-Vehicle Crash on State Route 32
CHICO, Calif. (Sept. 13, 2023) – An accident involving a tanker truck and two other vehicles happened on Highway 32 on Wednesday at River Road between Chico and Hamilton City.
The three-vehicle collision occurred around 6 a.m. on Sept. 12th, according to an Action News Now report.
It’s unknown at this time what led up to the multi-vehicle crash between the truck, a red car and a white car, but both smaller vehicles had major damage. Paramedics rushed at least one injured person to a hospital, but there are no specific details.
Authorities closed down a portion of Highway 32 and diverted eastbound motorists to River Road due to the collision and cleanup.
Tow trucks removed both cars from the roadway, but it’s unknown what damaged resulted for the tanker truck at this time.
The case remains under investigation to determine fault.
