VACAVILLE, California (November 6, 2016) – One was hospitalized after a traffic collision on Pleasants Valley Road Sunday afternoon, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
CHP first logged the incident when two Volkswagen Jetta, colored silver and gray respectively, collided at 3:42 p.m. The crash took place near Foothill Drive and Sunny Hills Lane.
As per the report, Vacaville Fire Department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and attended to at least one person who was confirmed to have sustained minor injuries following the 2-car wreck.
The victim, identified in the dispatch as 21-year-old Tanner Borelli, was transported to the hospital as a precaution due to heart surgery last year.
Authorities are gathering more information to determine the cause of the accident.
