Tanya Long, 64, Killed in Highway 113 Crash Near 80 Freeway
DIXON (July 20, 2018) – One person was killed, and several others were injured in a car accident on Highway 113, according to the Patch.
The crash happened on July 17, Tuesday, at approximately 10 a.m.
Preliminary investigation revealed the collision took place when a Honda CR-V, traveling northbound on Highway 113, turned left rather than right when she entered the eastbound Highway 80 off-ramp.
The Honda then crashed with the left front of a Dodge Dart that was traveling west on Highway 80. The Honda traveled across the raised dirt shoulder, and became airborne before stopping on the north shoulder of westbound Highway 80.
Officials identified the Honda driver as 64-year-old Tanya Long. The woman was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene as a result of the collision.

Authorities added the Dodge occupants suffered injuries in the wreck. As per the article, the 62-year-old driver suffered major injuries, a 54-year-old woman suffered minor injuries and a 9-year-old boy suffered moderate injuries. All three victims were taken to Kaiser Permanente Vacaville Medical Center for treatment. The names of the patients have not been disclosed thus far.
