
Man, 31, Killed in Multi-Vehicle Car Accident
PACHECO, Calif. (May 19, 2023) — Taylor Bustos, 31, of Pittsburg, died Thursday in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 4 over I-680 Freeway in Pacheco.
The fatality is the sixth this year on Highway 4 and the 10th in the area this year.
The 3-vehicle collision occurred around 5:50 p.m. on May 18th in Contra Costa County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred on the eastbound Highway 4 overpass above the Interstate 680 Freeway.
3-Vehicle Car Accident on Highway 4
A driver in a grey Toyota Highlander reportedly crashed into a Toyota Camry sedan occupied by Taylor Bustos and stopped for traffic. Upon impact, the Camry hit the concrete center divide and a gray Mazda 3 which was also stopped due to traffic.
Tayor Bustos suffered major injuries and was rushed by ambulance to a hospital.
Also, the driver and passenger from the Highlander were treated for minor injuries and the driver from the Mazda was not injured.

Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Pacheco crash on Highway 4.
