Teen Injured in Clovis Pedestrian Accident at Fowler Avenue, Shaw Avenue
Teen Hospitalized After Crash at Clovis Intersection
FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (Jan. 3, 2024) — A teenager was critically injured Sunday night in a pedestrian accident at Folwer Avenue and Shaw Avenue in Clovis.
The traffic accident occurred at around 6:46 p.m. on Jan. 1st at the Clovis intersection, according to the Fresno Bee.
The juvenile was reportedly crossing the street when they were struck by an oncoming car.
Paramedics responded and rushed the injured teen to a hospital where he or she is listed in critical, but stable condition.
Meanwhile, police say the driver of the vehicle stopped and is cooperating with the police traffic investigation. Preliminary indications are that drugs and or alcohol were not a factor, police said.
The police department’s collision reconstruction unit is working to determine the cause of the Clovis accident on Fowler Avenue.
