Teenage Girl Struck by Vehicle in San Marcos is Seriously Injured
SAN MARCOS, Calif. (Nov. 1, 2024) — A 16-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle and severely injured on Thursday morning along Rancho Santa Fe Road near San Marcos High School.
The major injury traffic accident occurred around 6:30 a.m. on Oct. 31st, just south of San Marcos Boulevard, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office.
A northbound motorist in a commercial vehicle was heading towards San Marcos Boulevard when the pedestrian crossed the roadway in front of the vehicle.
Paramedics responded and transported the injured teen to a hospital for treatment of “potentially life-threatening injuries,” according to sheriff’s officials.
