LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Dec. 2, 2024) – An 18-year-old man died and six others were injured in a hit-and-run crash at Broadway and Cesar Chavez Avenue in downtown Los Angeles.
Two people were critically injured in the collision at 12:40 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30th, in front of a Starbucks store at 559 North Broadway, according to a report by the Los Angeles Police Department.
The teenager was traveling in a car headed northbound on Broadway when the vehicle collided due to unknown circumstances with a westbound car on Cesar Chavez Avenue.

The family’s Gofundme page is seeking donations for his funeral costs.
The other two were listed in critical condition at the hospital.
Four others were treated for undisclosed injuries.
