Teen Killed in Dirt Bike, Dune Buggy Crash in Woodcrest

Kael Helm Killed in Crash in Woodcrest Area of Riverside County

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. (Dec. 26, 2024) — Kael Helm, 15, of Riverside, died last Saturday when a dirt bike and dune buggy collided near Blackburn Road and Vista Del Lago Drive in the unincorporated Woodcrest area near Riverside.

The crash was reported at 3:09 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21st, near the Riverside County intersection, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The teen was riding in one of the vehicles, but it’s unclear which one.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of the collision.
