1 Injured in Tehachapi Crash on Santa Barbara Drive Near Santa Lucia
TEHACHAPI, CA (October 24, 2021) – At least one was hospitalized after a car crash on Santa Barbara Drive in Tehachapi.
The California Highway Patrol said the wreck occurred on Saturday morning. Officers reported the accident on October 23 at about 6:39 a.m.
According to their dispatch, the incident happened when two sedans collided for an unknown reason in Tehachapi. The two crashed at 21043 Santa Barbara Drive.
2 Cars Collide
CHP described the cars as 2006 white Ford F-150 and a white 4-door Chrysler. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Golden Hills.
Medical personnel then found one person hurt as a result of the collision. They took the patient to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced a stretch of Santa Barbara Drive to shut down following the wreck.
The area is between Santa Lucia Street and Santa Maria Drive. The cause of the Tehachapi crash is still under investigation.
