
3 Injured in Tehama County Crash on Highway 99 and Lassen Road
TEHAMA COUNTY, CA (March 16, 2023) – Several were hospitalized after a crash on Highway 99 and Lassen Road in Tehama County.
According to an article published by the Action News Now, the accident took place on Wednesday morning. Officers reported the wreck on March 15 at around 11 a.m.
The incident happened when a driver was making a turn from Highway 99 onto Rowles Road in Tehama County. For an unknown reason, a vehicle slammed into the motorist head-on.
2 Cars Collide
The California Highway Patrol said the two crashed on Highway 99 and Lassen Road. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then found a total of three people hurt.
All three patients sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel soon rushed them to the hospital for treatment.
The report did not mention the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP added that one car obtained front-end damage upon impact.
Officers forced the area of Highway 99 and Lassen Road to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Tehama County crash is still under investigation.
