Passengers Hospitalized in 2-Car Collision in Bakersfield
Bakersfield, Calif. (July 5, 2023) — A car accident happened Wednesday morning in the unincorporated area of Di Gorgio near Bakersfield at Tejon Highway and Mountain View Road.
The collision occurred about 5:42 a.m. on July 5th, in Di Gorgio in Kern County according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
A grey Ford Mustang and an orange sedan collided in the intersection of Tejon Highway and Mountain View Road. This collision caused debris to block the road becoming a major traffic hazard. Paramedics responded to the scene to help those hurt in the crash. Two people were transported to Kern Medical due to minor injuries.
Tow trucks removed the blocking debris from the accident on Tejon Highway in Bakersfield and, along with the damaged cars in the intersection. Investigators are working on the case to determine who is at fault.
