TEMECULA TRUCK ACCIDENT
TEMECULA, Calif. (April 28, 2014) — A driver suffered moderate injuries early Monday morning when their car spunout and crashed into a semi-tractor trailer truck on the southbound Interstate 15 Freeway at Rancho California Road South, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
About 5 a.m., CHP officers received a 911 call about the traffic accident between the two drivers and a third vehicle near the center divider. The driver of a white Ford Mustang may have set off the accident when it spun out and hit the big rig truck. A third driver was also hit in the crash and the cars and truck were blocking the No. 1 lane.
Riverside California Department of Fire paramedics responded to the 3-vehicle crash to assist one of the drivers who was complaining of pain to their neck.
“Police will investigate this collision to determine liability,” said Attorney James Johnson. “The police report will provide details about what exactly happened and who is responsible based on interviews with drivers and witnesses as well as evidence collected at the scene.”
