1 Seriously Injured in Temecula Crash at Rancho California and Anza Roads
TEMECULA, CA (February 26, 2022) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash at Rancho California and Anza roads in Temecula.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 3 p.m.
CHP said three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Temecula. They crashed at the intersection of Rancho California and Anza roads.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
The incident log described two of the cars as a gray Audi Q8 and a gray Ford Explorer. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near a hotel.
Medical personnel found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. They then took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not disclose the name of the patient and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the eastbound lanes of Rancho California to shut down near Anza following the wreck.
The cause of the Temecula crash is still under investigation.
