Bicycle Rider Killed in Temecula Accident at Margarita Road and Paseo Brillante
TEMECULA, CA (October 5, 2020) – A bicycle rider died after an accident at Margarita Road and Paseo Brillante in Temecula Saturday morning.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department received a call about the collision on October 3. They reported the tragic crash at about 7:18 a.m.
The incident began when a gray Toyota Corolla was traveling east on Margarita Road. Deputies said the car then collided with the bicyclist at the intersection with Paseo Brillante.

The department’s press release added that paramedics immediately responded to the scene following the collision. The male cyclist ended up unresponsive in the roadway as a result of the crash.
Medical personnel transported the rider to Inland Valley Regional Medical Center for treatment. However, he later succumbed to his injuries.
The name of the deceased individual has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, officers forced Margarita to shut down between Stonewood and Moraga for several hours after the incident.
