2 Killed, 7 Injured in Temecula Crash on Highway 79 and Anza Road
TEMECULA, CA (July 24, 2022) – A crash near Highway 79 and Anza Road killed two people and injured several others in Temecula.
According to the ABC 7 News and KTLA News, the tragic accident took place on Sunday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 6:25 p.m.
The Riverside County Fire Department said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Temecula. A pickup truck and another car crashed near the southbound Highway 79 and Anza Road.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then pronounced an adult and a child dead at the scene. At least seven people ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Three pediatric victims and one adult sustained serious injuries upon impact. Three more adults survived the incident with moderate injuries.
Medical personnel rushed all patients to the hospital for treatment. The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, police forced the area of Highway 79 and Anza Road to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Temecula crash is still under investigation.
