1 Seriously Injured in Temecula Motorcycle Crash on 15 Freeway and Winchester
TEMECULA, CA (February 15, 2022) – At least one was seriously injured after a motorcycle crash on the 15 Freeway and Winchester Road in Temecula.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place on Tuesday evening. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 5:43 p.m.
The incident happened when a vehicle and the two people riding a motorcycle collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed on the northbound 15 Freeway at Winchester Road in Temecula.
Motorcycle and Vehicle Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found both riders, including a juvenile, down on the ground. At least one of them sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the wounded parties to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the names of the patients and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the other driver ended up hurt or if they stopped following the wreck. Officers forced the northbound 15 Freeway to shut down at Winchester after the incident.
The cause of the Temecula crash is still under investigation.
