TEMECULA, California (June 2, 2014) – Christopher Coronado, 22, of Temecula was identified as the pedestrian killed early Monday morning after being hit by a semi-tractor trailer truck on southbound Interstate 15 Freeway, between Overland Drive and Winchester Road, according to a press release by the CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department.
About 3:04 a.m., police and paramedics responded to the Temecula accident, but Coronado not survive and was pronounced dead at the scene about 3:17 a.m., according to a press release by the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner.
“My condolences go out to the family of this young man as they learn of their sudden loss,” said Attorney James Johnson. “Police will investigate this crash to determine liability and whether any charges will be filed against the driver.”
