4 Injured in Temescal Valley Crash on Interstate 15 Near Temescal Canyon Road
TEMESCAL VALLEY, CA (August 5, 2022) – Several were hospitalized after a crash on the Interstate 15 near Temescal Canyon Road in Temescal Valley.
According to an article published by My News LA, the accident took place on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 2:55 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol said three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Temescal Valley. They crashed on the northbound Interstate 15, just south of Temescal Canyon Road.
Multiple Cars Collide
Officers described the cars as a GMC Denali SUV and two pickup trucks. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then freed one trapped person from the wreckage.
The rescued individual sustained moderate injuries as a result of the collision. Three more people survived the incident with minor injuries.
Medical personnel soon rushed all four patients to the Riverside Community Hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the northbound lanes of the Interstate 15 to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Temescal Valley crash is still under investigation.
