TEMPLE CITY, California (August 28, 2017) — A 14-year-old girl was hit by a motorist Monday morning at 9501 East Lemon Avenue near the Temple City High School, according to the Los Angeles Police Department’s Temple City station.
Police say she was struck by the driver about 8 a.m., but fortunately there were no serious injuries.
The teenager suffered leg pain and was taken to a hospital by ambulance accompanied by her mother, the Los Angeles County Fire Department said. She was treated for minor injuries.

Police will investigate a collision involving a pedestrian and a motorist to determine if there were any traffic violations and criminal charges or citations could be made.
