Scooter Rider Injured in Templeton Hit-and-Run Crash at Main Street and 5th Street

TEMPLETON, CA (June 7, 2021) – One was injured after a hit-and-run crash at Main Street and 5th Street in Templeton.

The California Highway Patrol received a call about the accident on Monday afternoon. According to their dispatch team, officers reported the wreck at around 3:42 p.m.

The incident happened when a vehicle struck a scooter rider for an unknown reason in Templeton. The two collided at the intersection of South Main Street and 5th Street.

Motorcyclist Hit by Car Near Templeton Park

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Templeton Park. They found the motorcyclist left wounded in the roadway as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel then provided treatment to the victim for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the wreck. Officials did not disclose the name of the patient and their condition at this time.

Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the driver of the car involved did not stop to render aid and fled southbound on Main. The Templeton hit-and-run collision is still under investigation.

Officers forced the area of Main and 5th streets to close following the crash.
